Description

Discover the art of ceramic tile relief through hands-on handbuilding techniques. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn how to design, sculpt, and texture clay to create striking 3D tiles. Choose from a variety of geometric stencils or sketch your own design from scratch. With guided instruction and plenty of support, you’ll explore the fundamentals of slab building and surface detailing. At the end of class, select your favorite tile to keep! Your instructor will dry and bisque-fire it for you. You can return to glaze it yourself during one of our Glazing Workshops, or opt to have it glazed for a small additional fee.
