Description

This is a beginner level class that covers the basic use of lathe tools and best practices with the lathe itself. During the three hours we will cover the elements of spindle turning through hands-on practice. We will create a small project from start to finish that you may take home. If time permits, and there is interest, we can discuss specialized turning projects such as making pens, creating handles, and segmented turning.
